KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Kansas City Chiefs brought back another piece of their defensive and special teams units on Thursday.

The Chiefs announced that cornerback Nazeeh Johnson had been re-signed. Terms of the deal were not made available at the moment.

Johnson, a product of Marshall, was part of one of the most successful draft classes in Chiefs history. He was a seventh-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft in a draft class that featured Trent McDuffie, George Karlaftis, Leo Chenal, Isiah Pacheco and others who have contributed to two Super Bowl titles and three Super Bowl appearances.

He appeared in 16 games for the Chiefs in 2024 after missing the entire season prior due to a torn ACL in training camp.

He played nearly half of the Chiefs’ defensive snaps last season and was also a key contributor to special teams.
